We had a range of clients and contacts take part in a survey that we ran in April to explore how organisations have responded to the pandemic. Of the 22 responses, the majority provide social care and housing, but we also had representation from not for profits and financial services. Pay awards
Bonuses and performance-related pay Across all sectors, half of organisations make some element of performance related award, either to basic pay or in the form of a bonus.
Other impacts on reward Half of respondents provided an insight into how COVID-19 has impacted on reward in their organisations. These range from maintaining full pay for furloughed staff to providing one-off bonuses and tokens of recognition to employees who have taken on additional work.
