Assembling quality benchmark data for you

When looking for benchmarking information on pay, benefits, or even on HR performance, it can be difficult to find robust data.  There may be little source data available and buying data can be expensive. Surveys often contain information that is too generalised to provide meaningful conclusions for your specific needs.

Reward surveys

We have considerable experience in designing and running surveys, so can provide you with an alternative data source.

These surveys can cover pay, bonus and benefits provision. They are designed so that you can make comparisons with other organisations based on organisation size and location.

We provide participants with role descriptions that make it easy for participants to categorise their jobs, so that similar job types can be compared across organisations.
Online surveys

Survey data is collected by secure online questionnaire or using an Excel spreadsheet, which participants can fill in at their convenience. We go beyond most survey reports by presenting detailed commentary that explains the trends in the data.  Find out more about our Reward surveys.

Pay rise surveys

By their nature, regular pay surveys provide a historical snapshot of pay levels, so are of limited value to clients who are looking ahead as they plan for their next pay review.  To help our clients keep tabs on pay trends we run PayRiseThermometer surveys that are free to participants.

Staff opinion surveys and focus groups

As part of our reward service to clients, we often run staff opinion surveys, using online questionnaires which can be supplemented with on-site focus groups.

These surveys can be run to gauge general opinion following change implementation or as part of an ongoing commitment to monitor staff engagement.  We will report back to you with the outcomes and suggest recommendations for action.

By using us as a third party organisation to conduct your survey, staff are more likely to take part and state their feelings, as we can ensure that their responses are anonymous.

We can also operate staff surveys to monitor opinion or the effects of change by re-testing over a period of time. Contact us to find out how we can help.

HR benchmarking surveys

The only way that an organisation can assess how well it is really doing is by measuring itself against its peers.  While some information is openly available for inspection, most meaningful data is not so easy to obtain.  We specialise in running surveys that enable organisations to accurately benchmark aspects of their reward and HR performance against each other.

We are currently running our HR Barometer surveys for housing associations and for charities and care homes. These are invaluable to those responsible for HR, providing a single source of comparative data.  We are considering operating them in other sectors, so let us know if you think that this survey would be of interest to your organisation.
