Professional and practical reward surveys

We have considerable experience in designing and running surveys, so are able to collect specific data that provides an alternative source where the available information is otherwise limited.  This means that we can get to levels of reward data that standard surveys often cannot.

These surveys usually cover pay, bonus and benefits provision and require organisations to match their roles to the job definitions we provide.  We design no-nonsense questionnaires that participants can complete quickly, either in Excel or through our secure online survey system. 

We provide role descriptions that make it easy for participants to categorise their jobs, so that similar job types can be compared across organisations. Survey returns are carefully analysed  to make sure that the data is robust and then produce a detailed report that includes the pay data along with a full commentary to explain it.

Pay benchmarking surveys

In some sectors, pay levels change so rapidly that you need current data on which to base your decisions. 

As part of our pay benchmarking, we can run an additional tailored salary survey, contacting directly the organisations with whom you would like to compare pay rates.

We will use the data we obtain to blend with our other pay sources, so that you have a precise picture of the market. 

To comply with data protection principles, the information is anonymised. To maximise participation levels, we advise that generalised results are shared with the other participants at the end of the process.

Sector-specific surveys

Where there is a demand for reward information within a specific sector, we can develop a survey and invite participation.  For example, this year we have run several surveys of this nature for housing associations.  

Salary club surveys

We can apply our surveying process to run a customised survey for a group of organisations.
